Welcome to the new home of the Get S.M.A.R.T Project (www.getsmartproject.com)! It was time to give our on-line presence and upgrade, and we are very proud to announce the launch of our newly, redesigned website. Please feel free to take a look and navigate through the website to see all that we have to offer to empower and educate Morgan State University students, and other emerging adults 18 – 24 years old on HIV prevention, STI prevention and the effects of substance abuse (alcohol, marijuana, other illicit drugs, etc.). Our goal is to empower young people with information via various mediums (social media, visual ads, video, outreach activities and events, peer advocates, and interactive training workshops) to make better informed decisions and to make behavioral changes that will reduce or eliminate any risks.
Our new website is very interactive and features information on all of our intervention programs, SMART facts that provide the real picture of the rise of STDs and HIV infections among young people 15 – 24 yrs old, a photo gallery, HIV basics and prevention information, HIV & STI testing site locator, information on how you can get involved to educate other young adults, a blog where we will be featuring relevant tips for being sexually healthy and articles on relationships (heterosexual and LGBTQ), an events section, contests & incentives,e-newsletter sign-up, social media integration, and much more.
Feel free to let us know your thoughts on our new website by leaving a comment to this posting below. We appreciate your input and thanks in advance!
Finally, we’d like to thank Aiden Marketing, a full-service inbound marketing agency, for giving our old website a dynamic website makeover — we are overwhelming pleased with the redesign of our new website. They have worked diligently with our Get S.M.A.R.T team to ensure that our on-line presence is reflective of our desires and will be attractive to our target audience of emerging adults.
Again, welcome to the home of our new website www.getsmartproject.com — be sure to come back often to our site to stay connected!
